TRANSNET PHELOPHEPA HEALTH CARE TRAIN: DUTYWA 2018
The Transnet Phelophepa Health Care Train will be visiting Dutywa from the 5th of March up to the 16th of March 2018 and will be stationed at Dutywa Train station . Phelophepa offers affordable and quality Primary Health Care Services to the community. It complements the services offered by the Department of Health.
From 5th of March up to the 16th of March, community members of Mbhashe Municipality are encouraged to visit the Train which will be stationed Dutywa statition. The Phelophepa has 4 clinics and they will offer the following services;
Dental clinic
Screening and education – free
Extractions, fillings and cleanings (no false teeth)
Each procedures = R10,
All procedures for children under the age of 15= free
Eye Clinic
Eye Test = Free
All glasses = R30
Eye drops = R5
No operations or bifocals
Health Care Clinic
Health education = free
• Cancer and diabetes Edu-care
Diabetic screenings and cancer education = Free
Pap smears and prostate and breast screenings =Free
Medicine = R5 per prescription
Psychology Clinic
Our services are available to individuals, and include workshops to help cope with stress, abuse, conflict, death, parenting, discipline, empowerment and working through emotions
These services are Free
We work on a first come first serve basis and we want to encourage our community to start coming on the 5th of March and not wait until the last two days when it gets full. Thank you for your continued support!
